start by playing our online games where we'll test your logical thinking. if you ace the games, you’ll get to attend a check-in, and you will be invited to jump into the piscine (swimming pool) an intensive four-week training program and assessment where you'll dive head first into the world of coding. you need to be 18 years & above to join 42 abu dhabi.

It starts with a game of logic
Set up an account and test your logical thinking skills with 2 online games. You won’t need to code at this stage but you’ll need a quiet space to concentrate for at around 1-2 hours. If you ace the games you’ll be invited to stage 2.

That’s when we get to know each other: You’ll get to meet the staff and ask any questions.
Here we’ll validate your application, introduce you to the curriculum, and tell you about the 42 Abu Dhabi life.

Survive The Piscine
We will be testing your motivation: treading water in The Piscine is not easy, but it’s a fun and memorable way of finding out if you fit into the life of a 42 Abu Dhabi coder.
In just four very intensive weeks you’ll understand the learning model and dive head first into the deep end of coding with the rest of your peers.
If you survive The Piscine you will officially be enrolled to 42 Abu Dhabi.

THE COMMON CORE
The Common Core is the foundational phase of the 42 Abu Dhabi curriculum. Over 12 to 18 months, you work through a project-based, gamified programme with no teachers and no lectures - just peer-to-peer learning and real problem-solving from day one.
You progress through 7 core levels, earning XP with every project you complete. Topics build from systems programming in C and C++ through to AI, networking, web frameworks, and graphics. Each level unlocks the next. Your pace, your progress.

THE LEVEL 6 QUALIFICATION
The Level 6 qualification is a credential accredited by the UAE National Qualifications Council - equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Software Development and AI Applications. It is the first of its kind in the GCC, certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and awarded under the UAE National Qualifications Framework.
To earn it, you complete the Piscine, move through the Common Core, then choose one of four specialisation tracks: Web & Mobile Development, Game & Graphics Programming, Systems & Kernel Programming, or Security & Networks. No lectures, no teachers. Only project-based learning at your own pace.

To swim through the Piscine you need to be 18 years old and have the drive and determination of a 42 Abu Dhabi coder. There may be struggles, but they will help build you and make you stronger as a coder and a student.
There are limited admissions into the Piscine thus they run on a first-come-first-serve basis. But in order to give everyone an equal opportunity of joining 42 Abu Dhabi, there will be several Piscines.
